The methodology for PPM implementation was to first gain an understanding around the existing demand and initiative processes and to evaluate the potential areas for improvement.

HP PPM was identified for the intended change, owing to its ease in construction of process models, faster turnaround times for showcasing proof of concepts to various stakeholders and in building visibility mechanisms, like dashboards and reports, around the data captured through automated processes in the system.The client, noted for its world famous aircrafts, wanted to usher in process governance into its organization to gauge into the operational efficiency of its departments and be able to report on the various parameters that would not only help the organization in better management and control, but also help in evaluating potential cost savings areas.

The client organization was encouraged to save on maintenance and support of a diversified portfolio of existing legacy tools by incorporating their basic minimum functionality, like timesheets and IT Demand, into HP PPM and integrating these existing systems with PPM to obtain a central repository of real-time information in PPM.
